Nothing Personal
From the series Archives Without Us
The work explores how personal memory turns into an external system. Archives, educational structures and digital environments store, classify, reproduce and rewrite information on their own, without the involvement of the person it belongs to. A person is registered inside the system, but its operation does not require their presence. Lived experience becomes one element of an external memory that can exist and reproduce itself without us.
