Still from the video Library of Unread Books

In acquiring books out of genuine curiosity, I often kept them “for the future,” believing there was something magical about owning a library of unread books. Recently, I realized that such a library would never actually be read. This led me to a metaphorical reflection on how books, instead of being sources of knowledge, have become containers of unarticulated memory. They do not hold texts so much as the states in which they were chosen — anticipation, dreams, hope…

The experimental video continues my exploration of the forms of memory. The work has been selected for the official program of the Artefact AI Film Festival in Paris.
